Happy National Fire Prevention Week to All,
The Bernardsville Fire Company’s resident vampire, Count Igor, has asked that we convey his apologies to his many friends, young and old, that he will be unable to host his annual “Haunted Fire House” this year. Unfortunately, he missed a turn, while flying through the Scarisoara Glacier on his way from his old haunt, Bran Castle, in Transylvania, and crashed into some low hanging icicles. Luckily he was only “winged” and just needs to hang around for awhile with his feet elevated, no flying, and he will be as good as new, older and wiser, next year!
Since Count Igor cannot be here this year, he wants all of his friends to come and join the Bernardsville Fire Company in celebrating National Fire Prevention at our fire house located at 118 Mine Brook Road/Route 202 on Sunday, October 15th, between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. We’ll have some special events and activities, including games, prizes and pumpkins!
So, please plan to come to our festivities! Igor will be very happy to know you came.
